Japan Men’s Handball has qualified for the Olympic Games for the second consecutive time after winning the Asian Qualifier for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.Japan defeated Bahrain 32-29 in the tournament final on Monday (Sept. 29) in Doha, Qatar.After winning all four of their group games, including a huge 34-23 semifinal victory over South Korea, the Japanese once again upset the Middle Eastern powerhouse Bahrain, who had narrowly defeated them by one point in the group stage, to win the six-game tournament.Japan qualified for the Paris Olympics, which is reserved for the winner of the tournament, as they automatically qualified for Tokyo 2020 as the host nation, marking their second consecutive Olympic Games.It is the first time in 36 years that Japan has qualified for the Olympic Games away from 슬롯게이밍 home.Japan has competed in four consecutive Olympic Games from 1976 in Montreal to 1988 in Seoul.
