No. 1 LG snaps 5-game losing streak, trails No. 2 SSG by 0.5 games
With 11 straight wins, Doosan challenges for ‘second place’ KT jumps from 10th to 5th place

As we enter the second half of the season, we’re already seeing changes in the leaderboards.

The race is back to the wire, with the seemingly unassailable LG Twins faltering and Doosan Bears and KT Wiz fighting back.

The first team to suffer a setback in the second half is LG, who had the best first half.

After finishing the first half with a 2.5-game lead over second-place SSG Landers, LG has yet to report its first win since the start of the second half. In the last three games of the second half of the season, they have lost all three of their most reliable starters, Casey Kelly, Adam Plutko and Im Chan-kyu.

After recording their 49th win of the season against the Lotte Giants on April 8, they were looking to reach the 50-win mark, but were unable to add another victory for over a month. They lost five straight games for the first time this season and are now just 0.5 games behind SSG in the standings.
The Doosan Bears are in the exact opposite mood as LG.

After a nine-game winning streak at the end of the first half, Doosan won two games shortly after the start of the second half to complete its first 11-game winning streak since its inception.

As of the 26th, third-place Doosan is 4.5 games behind LG and 4 games behind SSG, challenging the top-two system of LG and SSG.

It’s worth noting that Doosan was in sixth place until the 30th of last month, 11.5 games behind LG and 10 games behind SSG. If Doosan keeps up this pace, it can expect to leap to the top.
KT Wiz, which was in 10th place at the beginning of last month, has also emerged as the “eye of the storm” in the standings battle.

KT entered the race in earnest in June with the No. 1 winning percentage (0.652) and continued its upward trend in July with the No. 2 winning percentage (0.667). Since June, the team’s batting average (0.276) and ERA (3.87) have been steady, and the team’s pitching has been solid.

KT, which was in last place until the 4th of last month, jumped to 5th place on the 25th and finally entered the ‘Top 5’. They trailed the fourth-place NC Dinos by two games.

With KT’s surge, the tight mid-table battle has become even tighter. Sixth-place Lotte trails KT by half a game, while the seventh-place KIA Tigers and eighth-place Hanwha Eagles are each one game back. As soon as a team gets on a winning streak, 한국야동 the standings can be shaken up.
