Laos also made a pledge to run an ‘underwear ceremony’ at the presidential palace.

Laos won 8-7 in the preliminary round against Singapore held at the Shaoxing Baseball Stadium in Hangzhou, China on the 27th, thanks to their concentration and scoring 5 points in the 6th inning. 안전놀이터
Former coach Lee said on the 28th, “I never thought we would beat Thailand or Singapore until I entered the tournament,” and added, “I watched from the bench with a feeling of suffocation until the last 9th inning with three outs.”
He added, “I did not shed tears even when the (MLB) Chicago White Sox won the World Series or even when I won three gold medals and had the best record as a professional baseball player.
This time, the tears fell endlessly.”
Former coach Lee Man-soo of the professional baseball team SK Wyverns (now SSG Landers) is living a second baseball career by spreading baseball to Laos in 2014.
Asian Games
Last April, if the Laos baseball team won one game at the Asian Games, he promised an ‘underwear ceremony’ in which he would go around the Presidential Palace in Vientiane, Laos, in his underwear, just like he did when he was the head coach of SK in 2007.
The current Laos national team is led by Kim Hyun-min, former coach of Jinyoung High School.
Laos baseball debuted on the Asian Games stage at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games.
At that time, they lost 0-15 to Thailand and 10-15 to Sri Lanka and failed to advance to the first round.
Laos, who started this tournament with the preliminary round, lost 1-4 in the first match against Thailand on the 26th, but won the second match on the 27th.
If Thailand wins the match between Thailand and Singapore on the 28th and takes first place in the preliminary round, Laos will advance to the finals in second place.
If they advance to the finals in second place in their group, they will play the first game against the home team, China, on the 1st of next month.
