Relegation-threatened K League 1 bottom side Incheon United failed to pick up a point in their first match of the Final B.
Incheon lost 1-0 to Jeju United in the 34th round of the Hana Bank K League 1 2024 Final B away leg at the Incheon Football Stadium on Monday.
Incheon, which has lost three straight matches, remains at the bottom of the standings with 32 points (7W, 11D, 16L). The gap between them and 11th-place eos파워볼 Jeonbuk Hyundai (37 points) is five points.
Jeju, which has won three straight matches against Incheon, remained in eighth place with 44 points (14W2D18L).
The match started off badly for Incheon.
In the 14th minute of the first half, Kim Gun-hee was hit hard on the forehead by Jeju’s Song Ju-hoon’s foot on an overhead kick, causing her to bleed. Kim continued to play with a bandage on her head, but eventually limped off in the 28th minute and was replaced by Oh Ban-seok.

However, Jeju sealed the victory in the 42nd minute with a goal from Italo. Italo finished a ball from Kim Joo-gong with a left-footed out-front shot to break down Incheon.
At the same time, Ulsan HD and Gimcheon Commerce played to a 0-0 draw in the first match of Final A at the Gimcheon Sports Complex. With one point apiece, the gap between first-place Ulsan (62 points) and second-place Gimcheon (57 points) remained at five points.
