The Toronto Blue Jays eventually returned to being a “seller.”

Toronto announced on the 27th (Korea Standard Time) that it will trade right-hander Jimmy Garcia (33) to the Seattle Mariners.

Garcia is a veteran of 404 games during 10 seasons in the Major League. He joined the team for a three-year, $16 million contract ahead of the 2022 season. This is the last year of his contract.

In 29 games this season, he played 30 innings with an ERA of 2.70 and a WHIP of 0.800 with 0.9 homers, 2.4 walks, and 12.6 strikeouts per 9 innings.

He garnered 16 saves and posted five saves with 10 holds. He garnered three wins without losing a game.

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander called Garcia “one of the best bullpen pitchers in the American League this year” and praised him for “taking the mound in important situations, overwhelming the strike zone and inducing swings and misses.”

“Garcia is a player with big game experience. I’m happy to recruit him to the bullpen,” he said, welcoming the player to join.

Seattle gave up outfielder Jonathan Clase (22) and catcher Jacob Sharp (22) in exchange for him.

Clase made his big league debut this season as a player who signed as an amateur free agent in July 2018, going 8 for 41 with 3 RBIs and 3 steals in 19 games.토토사이트 순위
