Pohang Steelers met with children as teachers for a day.
The Pohang Steelers held the “POSCO Future M Future Generation Soccer Class with Pohang Steelers” at Cheorim Stadium in Pohang on the 25th. The event was attended by Pohang Steelers Youth Director Lim Kyung-hoon, U12 Head Coach Jeon Gun-woo, and players Kim Gyu-hyung, Yoon Jae-woon, Choi Hyun-woong, and Lee Kyu-baek. They became ‘soccer teachers’ to 50 elementary school students who love the 스포츠토토존 Pohang Steelers and soccer.
After introductions, they gathered on the sports field to conduct a soccer class. The youth team leaders’ professional training program helped the students understand soccer more easily. They started with stretching, learned the basics of passing and dribbling, and finished with a mini-game. After the soccer class, they took a commemorative photo and looked forward to the next meeting.
“Playing with the kids after a long time, I felt like I was back to the time when I first started playing soccer,” said Kim Gyu-hyung. “I hope that the fun we had today will continue on the field in the future,” he said.
On the 28th of last month, four players from the Pohang Steelers, Kang Sung-hyuk, Kim Dong-min, Lee Kyu-min, and Hwang Seo-woong, communicated with local children through soccer through the Future Generation Soccer Class at the Pohang Sports Complex Indoor Gymnasium. The Pohang Steelers will continue to hold soccer classes for local children once or twice a month with POSCO FutureM.
Meanwhile, Pohang Steelers will play a home match against Incheon United at 2 p.m. on May 28 at Steel Yard.
